     Urbanization

Urbanization refers to the population shift from rural to urban areas, "the gradual increase in the proportion of people living in urban areas", and the ways in which each society adapts to the change. due to its great effects to the society's flow, 43% of the world lives in urban areas due to the economic opportunities may it be job related, school related, or business related. Urbanization is changing society greatly through diversity, independence, secularization, and mass communication systems. These characteristics or advantages is the reason why the large amount of population shifts from rural to urban places.
Good schools and good opportunities can be found in urbanized places which people are looking forward to. But despite the problems to this which leads us to weaker social attachments or higher crime. In urbanized places crimes are more rampant due to the number of people who are staying in the area which gives opportunities for criminals to do crimes towards the number of people living in an urbanized area.

Capital costs for building improved environmental infrastructure for example, investments in a cleaner public transportation systems, building of more hospitals, schools, and infrastructures where wages exceed those in rural areas. Economically speaking when you want to acquire something, you have to sacrifice something. Urbanization is also a threat to mother nature, for trees are replaced with buildings, and factories producing bad gasses which will activate global warming. although we continue to grow and improve urbanization we must also be mindful of our actions in the growth of our economy. Such as that we do not create harm to ourselves and to others.

Therefore urbanization is one of the most vital part in social change because it plays a big role unto the lives of people. It gives out positive as well as negative effects to humankind. It is the most common thing that is happening in the present, yet we rarely notice. We must evolve with caution and keep the world safe for the children in the near future.

Social Change (Urbanization)

Urbanization

Urbanization refers to the population shift from rural to urban areas, "the gradual increase in the proportion of people living in urban areas", and the ways in which each society adapts to the change. This is one great example of social change due to it's great effects to the society's flow, 43% of the world lives in urban areas due to the economic opportunities may it be job related, school related, or business related. Urbanization is changing society greatly through diversity, independence, secularization, and mass communication systems. These characteristics or advantages is the reason why the large amount of population shifts from rural to urban places. Good schools and good opportunities can be found in urbanized places which people are looking forward to. But despite the good opportunities and advantages of urbanization, there are also problems to this which leads us to weaker social attachments or higher crime. In urbanized places crimes are more rampant due to the number of people who are staying in the area which gives opportunities for criminals to do crimes towards people living in urbanized places.

Capital costs for building improved environmental infrastructure for example, investments in a cleaner public transportation system such as a subway and for building more hospitals and clinics are higher in cities, where wages exceed those paid in rural areas. And urban land prices are much higher because of the competition for space. But not all urban areas have the same kinds of environmental conditions or health problems. Some research suggests that indicators of health problems, such as rates of infant mortality, are higher in cities that are growing rapidly than in those where growth is slow.

Therefore urbanization is one of the most vital part of social change, because it plays a big role unto the lives of people. It gives out positive as well as negative gifts to human kind. It is the most common thing that is happening in the present, yet we rarely notice due to the evolution of the perspective of men.
